With 200 total units over 4 storeys, the Village of Westhills development required an exterior refurbishment to boost its “curb appeal” – attracting new homeowners and protecting the investment of existing residents. Consulting with the condo board and residents, our team decided to modernize the original cedar timbers with new primer and paint. New energy-efficient loft windows were also installed as well as no-maintenance powder-coated aluminum rails.
Located steps away from 17th Avenue, the Jubilee Apartments are housed in a 60-year old heritage building that required a more modern envelope to protect from the outside elements. Our task was not just to protect the property manager’s investment, but to maximize it. We accomplished this by modernizing both the exterior and interior with a complete renovation. The final result: the Jubilee Apartments were revitalized for another 60 years and rents were increased by over 100%.
